Job Purpose and Overview
Join Appfire, a leading global provider of software solutions, as a Lead Software Engineer in Poland. This role is perfect for those passionate about building top-tier products and being part of a caring and dynamic team. You'll be part of the Astroneers team, known for its supportive environment and technical prowess, focusing on products like Canned Responses Pro and Chat for JSM.
What You Will Do
- Lead, design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable applications primarily using Vue.js and Node.js.
- Engage in best engineering practices including automated testing, code review, and pair programming.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and performance.
- Drive innovations and improvements within the team and products.
- Directly interact with customers to gather feedback and ensure their needs are met.
What We Expect
- 7+ years of experience in developing scalable, high-traffic cloud applications.
- Proficiency in full-stack JavaScript applications, with a strong emphasis on Vue.js and Express.js.
- Deep understanding of modern cloud architectures, particularly in AWS and GCP environments.
- Strong theoretical foundations in computer science, including algorithms and computational complexity.
- Excellent communication skills and a product-oriented mindset.
- Experience with MongoDB and DynamoDB is advantageous.
