Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

Fiddler AI is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is pivotal in shaping the evolution of our enterprise ML model and LLM performance monitoring and model explainability products. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will design and own core front-end components of our enterprise software product, including interactive UI and data visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the application with new features and enhancements. Create reusable, maintainable, and testable frontend components to ensure high quality of our codebase.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our product and data science teams as well as our UX designer to create clear, simple, performant, and intuitive interfaces.
• Customer Support: Collaborate with our customer support team to resolve customer issues and translate these into better product designs.

What We're Looking For

• Educational Background: BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience: 4+ years as a Frontend Engineer with strong ownership of the products you build and a solid product sense.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Typescript/Javascript and asynchronous programming. Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React, React Hooks, and React Query. Experience with frontend state management patterns like Redux or Flux.
• Testing: Experience with unit testing using Jest/Enzyme and E2E automation testing using frameworks like Cypress/Playwright is strongly preferred.

Location

This position is preferably hybrid with at least 1 day a week in the Palo Alto office. We will consider full remote for a strong candidate on the West Coast.

Salary

The pay range in San Francisco, California is $130,000 - $200,000. The posted range represents the expected salary range for this job requisition and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits, and perks previously outlined. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider your experience, leveling, location, and other job-related factors.
