Join Our Machine Learning Team
Workiva is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Machine Learning team. This role is pivotal in delivering resilient and user-friendly web applications that incorporate Artificial Intelligence. Our team is focused on integrating Generative AI and Machine Learning tools across various use cases, primarily using the Dart language, while also expanding the use of TypeScript as a primary frontend language.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Enhance UI: Work on the user interface for AI solutions across different product contexts.
- Collaborate with Teams: Ensure seamless integration and a cohesive user experience by working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Optimize Performance: Enhance UI performance and responsiveness for a smooth user experience.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor fellow engineers in frontend development.
- Technical Solutions: Deliver and document technical solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Testing and Debugging: Develop comprehensive test plans and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Support and Communication: Collaborate with support teams to resolve production issues and communicate technical issues clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience with Dart, TypeScript, or React.
- Experience in architecting frontend APIs and micro frontend architecture.
- Passion for AI technologies and strong debugging skills.
- Proven experience in technical mentorship.
- Strong foundation in computer science and experience with cloud-based distributed systems.
- Experience in an agile development environment.
Working Conditions
- Remote Work: Work from any location within your country of employment.
- Travel: Up to 25% travel may be required.
How You’ll Be Rewarded
- Salary Range: $102,000 - $173,000 annually.
- Bonus and Stock Units: Discretionary bonus and restricted stock units.
