Job Overview
Galileo Financial Technologies is seeking a Senior Frontend Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team in Seattle, WA. This role is pivotal in transforming our Money product architecture, focusing on the evolution of our banking core and the implementation of enhanced account structures. You will be working on maturing our central member-facing services, particularly in areas such as entitlements, permissions, and data management, which are critical to supporting integrated product offerings like SoFi Plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality code on schedule and communicate effectively with both internal and external teams.
- Produce well-designed, scalable, and reusable code.
- Participate in code and design reviews, setting a high bar for the team.
- Work effectively across functions and teams to ensure deliverables are met.
- Design and build large features independently without guidance.
- Track project performance against defined milestones and goals.
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders.
- Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Create and add to existing technical documentation.
- Make significant contributions to the code base and drive the roadmap forward.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of mobile programming experience in Android or iOS.
- Experience with Git-based distributed version control systems.
- Agile-based project development in a microservices environment.
- Test-driven development along with unit and integration testing.
- Strong fundamentals in web protocols and experience developing against REST APIs.
- Experience with modern mobile design patterns and strong debugging skills.
- Passion for solving complex problems and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Flutter and other cross-platform technologies.
- Knowledge of reactive programming (RX, Coroutines, Streams).
- Understanding of S.O.L.I.D or G.R.A.S.P principles and Clean Architecture patterns.
- Previous experience building platform-level frameworks and components in a large codebase.
- Expertise in mobile performance tuning.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $102,400—$192,000 USD per year.
- This role may also be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentives.
