Job Overview
Galileo Financial Technologies is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key player in our Money product architecture transformation, you will focus on evolving our banking core and implementing enhanced account structures. This role is crucial for supporting integrated product offerings like SoFi Plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain React-based web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver testable and accessible web applications.
- Work closely with designers to identify and solve potential implementation issues.
- Generate, enhance, and promote ideas for new projects and technologies.
- Deliver and operate highly available and scalable services in a production environment.
- Communicate effectively with project leads, product managers, and other software developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript libraries, tooling, and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies and responsive design.
- Experience in unit, functional, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with Node.js is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Nice to Have
- Interest in personal finance.
- Experience managing investments or taking out loans.
- Experience scaling highly available, mission-critical systems.
- Full-stack experience with systems, databases, or front-end technologies.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $102,400—$192,000 USD per year.
- Eligible for bonus and long-term incentives.
