The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Gala, you will be instrumental in developing high-quality applications and web games using React. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Artists to translate user needs into robust technical solutions, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-quality web applications and games using React.
- Develop responsive and reusable components.
- Collaborate with UX/UI artists and backend engineers to implement new functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues related to large datasets in the UI.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with React and advanced systems like hooks, Redux, and React Context.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
- Proficiency in Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development practices.
- Experience with REST services and WebSockets.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or other CSS frameworks.
- Familiarity with backend technologies like Node.js and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Experience with Docker and Linux/Unix command line environments.
