Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js, React.js)

Job Description

We are working on the migration of Oracle services to Zendesk, a pivotal initiative that will enhance our operations and customer interactions. The Customer Relations team plays a crucial role in this transition as Zendesk provides a more user-friendly and cost-effective solution, improving both efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Node.js (backend) and React.js (frontend).
• Build and integrate APIs, third-party services, and microservices for enhanced functionality.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability across platforms.
• Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces in React.js, optimizing for performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop RESTful APIs and web services with Node.js and Express.js, implementing secure authentication and session management.
• Ensure database operations (CRUD) using SQL or NoSQL databases, ensuring high code quality through testing and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers on business requirements, participating in code reviews and design discussions.
• Write unit tests, diagnose bugs, and implement security best practices to safeguard applications.

Who We Are Looking For

• Previous understanding of Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express.js) and modern React behaviors (Hooks, Context API), including state management with Redux and RESTful API development.
• Experience with both NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, cloud services (AWS), and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum practices, and familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha) and TypeScript.
