Join Our Team as a FullStack Developer
Are you a passionate FullStack Developer ready to tackle complex challenges and create exceptional digital experiences? Join our Engineering Team within Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP), Corporate Technology (CT) at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group). We are looking for innovative individuals who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
Role Overview
As a FullStack Developer, you will be part of a team that serves as a bridge between Corporate Technology and LSEG central engineering, operations, and compliance teams. Your key focus will be enabling our CT DevOps teams to bring new software or new features to production as quickly as possible. You will ensure all central requirements and changes are supported via aligned EXP squads.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement technical changes required or lead CT coordinated efforts where there are multiple capability dependencies.
- Ensure correct tooling standards are followed and automate operational tasks.
- Support CT Compliance, Security Controls, and Risk Management.
- Ensure an acceptable level of IT operations performance and error risk in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Continuously review operating metrics and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in HTML, React.js, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with server-side programming languages like Node.js, Java, and Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.
- Experience with front-end and back-end frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of Developer Tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- General understanding of Databases.
- Understanding of performance testing and optimization.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux Servers and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- 4-6 years of experience in software development.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills on various platforms.
- Advanced skills in infrastructure as code.
- Minimum knowledge and understanding of financial markets are desirable.
