About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team in Berlin. You will be part of our Fulfillment team, focusing on enabling our customers to earn and redeem cashback. Our Product and Technology team operates in an agile DevOps environment with a strong customer focus, targeting outcomes rather than outputs using OKRs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Node.js, React, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebases, optimizing application performance and scalability.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly.
- Document code and processes comprehensively, following security best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
Bonus Points
- Experience with GraphQL, federation, and Supergraph concepts.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as GitLab, Dapr, Docker, and CI/CD solutions.
Your Profile
- At least 6 years of experience as a developer.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js (Nest.js, Express.js, or any other framework).
- Experience with modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks like React, Angular, or Next.js.
- Knowledge of AWS technologies such as DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and messaging solutions.
- Excellent understanding of design and architectural patterns.
- Logical, analytical thinking with a structured approach and good problem-solving skills.
- Passion for delivering clean code and maintainable documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Good communication skills in English.
