About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at the City of Amsterdam, you will be part of a dynamic team that is at the forefront of digital transformation in one of the world's most vibrant cities. You will join team Salmagundi, a multidisciplinary agile development team, where you will design, develop, and manage web applications that serve the city's markets, housing, youth & safety, and debt counseling sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Manage Applications: Work on React Native apps for market masters and React/Django web applications to manage, invoice, and report on Amsterdam's markets.
- Collaborate with UX Designers: Test and build the ultimate user experience in iterations.
- Code Quality and Reviews: Write high-quality, well-tested code and conduct code reviews.
- Innovate and Advise: Provide guidance on innovation, development, and maintenance of applications.
- Team Collaboration: Work in a multidisciplinary agile team, contributing to a collaborative and open culture.

Qualifications
- Educational Background: HBO/WO level in computer science or related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack developer with expertise in JavaScript/React, Python/Django, PostgreSQL, and cloud environments like Kubernetes/Docker.
- Skills: Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in front-end, back-end, and cloud architecture.
