Join Our Team as a Full-stack Engineer
Are you a passionate Full-stack Engineer looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment? Simplicate is seeking a talented individual to join our engineering team, working from either Amsterdam or Groningen, with the flexibility to work remotely as well.
About the Role
As a Full-stack Engineer at Simplicate, you will be an integral part of a dedicated Product Squad. You will collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, a Product Owner, Quality Engineer, UX designer, and Scrum Master to deliver both large-scale projects and incremental improvements. Our development process is structured around three-week sprints, allowing you to see the tangible impact of your work regularly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using PHP, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and conduct code reviews.
- Implement automated testing using tools like PHPUnit and Jest.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
What We Are Looking For
- Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript, with experience in frameworks such as Symfony and React.js.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is a plus.
- Experience with testing frameworks like PHPUnit and Jest.
- A proactive, ambitious mindset with a passion for quality and continuous learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
