About the Role
Newzoo is seeking a passionate and talented Fullstack Developer with a strong set of skills in full stack Python development to join our dynamic team. You will be working on a cutting-edge optimization platform for marketing, visibility, and conversion on Steam. This role is pivotal in broadening the platform's scope and redefining the boundaries of our capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our web application using the Django framework and Python.
- Implement frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with our design and product teams to create an engaging product.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Participate in code reviews, and share your expertise with the team.
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience with Python web development (Django/Flask).
- Proven experience in frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL (or equivalent SQL database).
- Experience with the Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Experience with task queues (e.g. Celery) is beneficial.
- Understanding of code versioning tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical knowledge of unit testing.
- Passion for video games and familiarity with the Steam/Xbox/PlayStation platforms is a plus.
