Sidechat is a platform designed to connect college students with their peers through anonymous posts, comments, and messages. Our mission is to create a safe and fun space for students to express themselves authentically. Founded by early employees of Snapchat, our team includes talent from industry leaders like Peloton and Xbox.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our platform. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating directly with the founders to translate specifications into engineering requirements.
- Implementing new features and ensuring seamless deployments.
- Setting the technical direction for the platform.
- Participating in the recruitment of new engineering talent.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about user experience and have a proven track record in product development. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience with React for frontend development and Node.js for backend development.
- A deep understanding of full-stack development and web technologies.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interview Process
