Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (React, TypeScript)

You'll be joining an experienced team that includes founders who have successfully built and sold startups before. About the Role

We are looking for our first frontend-facing full stack engineer who is passionate about building thoughtful UI and is excited to create a high quality billing experience for our clients and their customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years work experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React.
• Familiar with current trends and best practices in front-end technologies such as architecture, performance, security, and usability.
• Prior experience working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to design new features from scratch.
• Conviction to advocate best front-end practices across an engineering organization.

• All user-facing features of the Metronome product.
• Project Examples:
  • A dashboard experience where users can drill into multiple layers of data.
  • Multi-step workflows for creating and managing complex business contracts at scale.
• Partnering closely with our PM/Designers and GTM team to come up with solutions that balance user experience and development velocity for complex problems.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $217,000. In addition to your base salary, Metronome offers a competitive total rewards package, including but not limited to, market-benched equity, sales incentive pay (for eligible roles), comprehensive health benefits, and other benefits listed below.

The actual base salary will vary based on factors including market value, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process, and previous experience. The listed range above should serve as a guideline and may be modified at any time.

We believe that compensation reflects the expected impact you will have at the company, relative to the market value of your role. We also conduct an annual pay audit to ensure pay is fair, indexed to market value, and that pay takes into account continued performance at Metronome.
