Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to focus on our EverPro software platform. The EverPro suite of products is comprised of primarily end-to-end vertical software products for small & medium-sized trades contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small, highly focused team of engineers to build a scalable and maintainable foundation for our EverPro platform.
• Educate and promote the platform as the preferred solution for new product development.
• Contribute to solutions from inception to deployment, ensuring they support rapid iteration and innovation.
• Dissect business problems into well-designed systems and build robust, scalable systems.
• Write effective, scalable, and highly readable code.
• Coordinate and communicate across teams to solve complex problems.
• Mentor and grow the engineering skills in your teammates.

Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of professional industry experience delivering scalable software solutions.
• 3+ years in a senior engineer role.
• Experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, and Express.
• Proficiency in modern web frameworks, such as React.
• Expertise in database modeling and caching technologies.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Experience with large scale 3rd party integrations.
• Experience with messaging bus and streaming technologies, such as Kafka, Flink, and RabbitMQ.
• Experience running applications in managed cloud container platforms such as EKS or ECS.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code for cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Mobile application development experience with React Native.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field.

Location

This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. If you’re close to one of our offices, you can work in-office or 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $120K to $150K USD Per Year. EverCommerce considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
