We are on a mission to transform how banks govern their AI and machine learning models, particularly in the financial services sector. Our platform addresses the critical need for modern Model Risk Management, driven by changing technologies and regulatory requirements.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Full-Stack Founding Engineer, you will be one of the first hires, playing a crucial role in the development and success of our startup. You will be involved in every aspect of product development, engineering, and shaping the company culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our full-stack technology platform using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL on the backend, and React, Remix, and TypeScript on the frontend.
- Design and build well-tested RESTful JSON APIs.
- Work with relational SQL databases and perform data modeling.
- Implement frontend solutions with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, ensuring strong attention to detail and an eye for great UX.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality software.
Who You Are
- You have at least 6 years of full-stack development experience.
- You possess significant backend experience and strong frontend skills.
- You are a systems-thinker who can see the big picture and appreciate the complexity of interconnected components.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can foster strong relationships.
- Bonus: Experience in financial services and/or risk management, or a keen interest in learning deeply about a new field.
