Overview
Vise is a technology-powered asset manager that leverages artificial intelligence to help financial advisors build, manage, and explain personalized portfolios. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from backend systems to client-facing applications, in a role that offers significant ownership and impact.
What You Will Do
- Lead the implementation of systems that power and scale our business.
- Address system bottlenecks and continuously improve our tech stack.
- Collaborate with the Product team to deliver impactful solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for best practices and tools.
What You Will Bring
- Over 5 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in backend and frontend languages, including Python, Golang, and TypeScript.
- Experience with React and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial data or investment tools.
- Familiarity with Airflow or similar pipeline management systems.
