About the Role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Smartly, you will be part of the Rocket team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining our Creative Template Editor and Media Library. These tools are crucial for our customers who rely on our creative production tooling to generate and manage tens of millions of advertising creatives. You will have end-to-end ownership of vertical slices of our platform, ensuring that our services are well-documented and effectively communicated to other teams within Smartly.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership: Own vertical slices of our platform from conception to deployment.
- Documentation and Communication: Document our services and communicate our offerings to other teams.
- API Design and Ownership: Define, design, and own API contracts for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Quality Focus: Focus on well-designed and well-executed software. Quality is paramount.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders including UX, product, infrastructure, and support teams to meet customer needs.
- Innovation: Contribute to the innovation within the Creative Engineering Group by reacting to customer demand and feedback.
What We Look For
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in building robust, complex, and distributed web applications.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, React, Redux, and other relevant technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Problem Solving: Motivation for solving customers' problems and delivering value at a fast pace.
- Collaboration: Ability to effectively work with different stakeholders.
