Join Our Team as a Senior Backend Engineer (Ruby on Rails)
We are seeking an experienced backend-focused engineer to join Team Aqueduct at Smartly, a team dedicated to building our feed management solution for large-scale cross-platform social advertising. As a seasoned professional, you will play a crucial role in enabling the long-term growth and product success of the team.
About the Role
In this role, you will work on our robust feed management platform, which supports various social channels. You will be responsible for solving complex technical problems and sharing your learnings with the team. Our backend is primarily written in Ruby on Rails, and you will have the opportunity to work with modern frontend technologies like React and TypeScript as we start new projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert business requirements into technical solutions.
- Build data-intensive applications.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to build and support key features.
- Share learnings and improvement ideas actively.
- Work in a hybrid capacity from our Berlin office 2 days a week.
