Role Overview
As a Full-stack JavaScript Engineer at Zalando, you will be part of the Emerging Propositions team, focusing on enhancing customer experiences in the beauty, designer, and recommerce domains. This role involves developing responsive user interfaces and collaborating on backend solutions, ensuring a seamless integration between front and back-end systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using modern frameworks like React.
- Collaborate with product managers to refine product requirements.
- Work with designers to create visually appealing and functional interfaces.
- Design API contracts and develop backend-for-frontend solutions.
- Participate in system design and show a willingness to learn beyond your domain.
- Engage in problem-solving and product-oriented development.
- Take ownership of your work and continuously strive for improvement.
What We Look For
- At least 2 years of professional experience in web development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js.
- Experience with React and other modern frontend frameworks.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and REST services.
- Familiarity with server-side rendering technologies like NextJs.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
