About the Role

As a Senior Fullstack Software Developer, you will be an integral part of our internal software development team, contributing to the continuous development and improvement of our open and modular software solution, "CONTACT Elements." As a leading provider of digital transformation projects in the industry, we have developed an innovative solution for PLM, project management, and Industrial IoT with "CONTACT Elements," which supports our customers from various industries worldwide in collaborating better and realizing their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Further development of our CONTACT Elements platform or our specialized web applications for demanding enterprise system solutions in the areas of PLM, ERP, project management, Industrial IoT, or the public sector.
• Participation in exciting software projects in small, interdisciplinary teams using agile development methods and state-of-the-art technologies.
• Development and implementation of creative and pragmatic solution concepts, including the use of open-source components. Active participation in open-source software projects is encouraged.
• Quality assurance through practical application of CI/CD and DevOps concepts, including automated builds, code analysis, testing, and deployments.
• Opportunity to be involved in all phases of software development, from technical and functional conception, through implementation and test automation, to documentation and maintenance.

What You Should Bring

• A degree in computer science, digital media, or a related technical field with a strong focus on computer science, or a comparable IT education with several years of professional experience.
• Practical experience with at least one of our technology stacks: Python, JavaScript, or React, and the associated tools and methodologies.
• Experience with database systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite).
• A good sense for the visual, textual, and accessible design of modern web applications.
• Enjoyment of collaborative work in a motivated and committed team, combined with an independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style.
• Good German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
