About the Job

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at TRACT, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, design, and implementation of our insights platform. Leveraging your expertise in both frontend and backend development, you will lead technical projects and contribute directly to scalable, reliable, and intuitive solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate business requirements into efficient and maintainable code, optimizing performance and ensuring a seamless user experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and solutions that are shaping the future of agriculture and food sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and intuitive solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient code.
• Optimize performance and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Over 5 years in the industry, with 2+ years as a senior engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and React with TypeScript. Familiarity with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and BigQuery is a plus.
• Deep understanding of design principles and architectural patterns.
• Effective communicator and mentor, able to lead and collaborate within teams.
• Familiar with agile development approaches.
• Passionate about continuous learning and personal development.

This position is based in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands, with a hybrid working policy allowing for both on-site and remote work.
