About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing web app frontends, particularly for data-driven and AI-based applications. You will be responsible for:

• Developing intuitive user interfaces and integrating APIs.
• Extending existing frontend applications and tools.
• Collaborating closely with the CTO and other developers to drive technical strategy and develop innovative solutions.
• Conducting regular code reviews and making architectural decisions to ensure best practices are followed.
• Supporting user research and usability testing to deliver user-centered solutions.
• Interacting directly with clients to gather requirements and analyze business needs, translating them into technical specifications.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 4 years of experience in frontend development.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, and modern frontend technologies and architectures.
• Extensive experience with React and the React tech stack, including Webpack, Next.js, and state management technologies like Redux.
• Proficiency in CSS design frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap, with the ability to develop performant and scalable user interfaces.
• Experience in leading technical projects and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong English and German communication skills.

Additional Skills That Would Be a Plus

• Strong sense of UX/UI design and ability to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Good understanding of API design, RESTful services, and GraphQL.
• Interest in artificial intelligence.
• Experience in backend development with Python or Node.js.
