About the Role
As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer at Vendr, you will be pivotal in developing our Marketplace platform, which is revolutionizing how customers discover and procure products. This role involves leading both frontend and backend development efforts to create an intuitive and efficient user experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the Marketplace, focusing on frontend technologies but also handling backend integrations.
- Design and implement key features such as product search, comparison tools, and the checkout process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, UX designers, and product managers to ensure a seamless integration of various vendor APIs and product catalogs.
- Optimize performance for large-scale product listings and search functionalities.
- Balance complex procurement processes with a user-friendly interface.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and building customer-centric applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Problem-solving skills and a passion for creating seamless online shopping experiences.
- Experience with GraphQL, state management libraries (e.g., Redux), and payment gateway integrations is a plus.
- Leadership and mentorship experience are beneficial.
