Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Marketplace (Remote - US)

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer at Vendr, you will be pivotal in leading the development of our innovative Marketplace platform. This role involves both frontend and backend development, ensuring a seamless integration of user interfaces with backend services. You will be responsible for creating intuitive and efficient user experiences that empower customers to easily find and purchase products.
Responsibilities
- Lead frontend development of Marketplace, our user-facing tool for streamlining product discovery and procurement.
- Implement key features such as product search, comparison tools, and checkout process.
- Collaborate closely with Vendr's Technology teams, including backend developers, UX designers, and product managers.
- Ensure seamless integration with various vendor APIs and product catalogs.
- Optimize performance for large-scale product listings and search functionality.
- Balance user experience with complex procurement processes.
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and building customer-centric applications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Problem-solving aptitude and passion for creating seamless online shopping experiences.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality code and driving successful projects.
- Experience with GraphQL, state management libraries (e.g., Redux), and payment gateway integrations is a plus.
- Leadership experience and mentorship skills are a plus.
