About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta, you will:
- Lead complex projects: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and engineers to enable our business and team to scale.
- Design and develop new product functionality: Utilize modern frameworks and tooling such as TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Set direction for critical technical areas: Influence architecture for next-generation execution infrastructure.
- Drive initiatives: Increase operational posture and execution quality across the engineering organization.
- Define engineering culture: Contribute to shaping Vanta's engineering culture as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex engineering projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- Experience with front-end development technologies and frameworks.
- Proven track record of driving projects around scaling product infrastructure.
- Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects.
- Experience launching greenfield products in collaboration with users and product managers.
- Experience working in rapidly scaling startups or large companies with a bias for action.
