The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Valdera, you will ideate and implement high-value product features from start to finish. You will work with product teams to design and build functionality that supports buyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Your work will involve all stages of product development and deployment, including idea generation, user interviews, planning, design, prototyping, implementation, testing, iteration, and scaling.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement interfaces and features for customer problem-solving.
- Evaluate and leverage libraries, frameworks, and new technologies.
- Architect and implement back-end systems and cloud-based data models.
- Improve product performance and reliability.
- Independently own projects from conception through release.
Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in both backend and frontend web development.
- Proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, and TypeScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React with Redux.
- Familiarity with industry-standard build tooling, including version control, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and feature-flagging.
