Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative features for our iOS native application, which supports our airline customer-facing mobile platform. As a senior developer, you will play a crucial role in defining technical solutions that ensure the delivery of resilient, automated, and high-quality systems. You will work closely with technical architects, IT peers, and squad team members to build an industry-leading customer experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead a Team: Guide a team working on iOS native applications, helping them identify solutions to business needs.
- Mentorship: Mentor and help mature the agile team to ensure on-time and on-budget execution while delivering innovative and efficient solutions.
- Issue Management: Handle production issue triage and prevention, provide release management support from a technical standpoint, and maintain the backlog.
- Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and retain top industry talent for the team.
- Research and Development: Engage in R&D of POCs and innovative new ideas for customer interactions.
- Agile Practices: Drive work using industry-leading agile practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in iOS development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C. Familiarity with design patterns such as MVP, MVC, and MVVM.
- Testing: Experience with XCUITest and XCTest.
- Tools: Experience with Swift Packages and GitHub.
- Programming: Strong understanding of functional programming and reactive patterns using Combine.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Agile Development: Experience in agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
