Job Overview
Join Airbnb as a Senior iOS Software Engineer on the Host Calendar team. This role involves crafting the next generation of tools for Airbnb hosts, focusing on availability management and revenue optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality iOS products, ensuring a seamless user experience for hosts managing their properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Experience Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to design and deliver high-quality iOS products.
- Build efficient and reusable mobile components and architect reliable, performant, and scalable mobile solutions.
- Work with product and design partners to explore problem spaces and devise solutions to customer problems.
- Develop Host calendar and availability functionality, surfacing insights and analytics.
- Create technical and execution strategies for new projects and legacy migrations.
- Identify areas of improvement and drive mobile best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing iOS applications at scale with a high volume of users.
- Expertise in Swift or Objective-C, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Strong product sense and a passion for UI and UX product development.
- Ability to collaborate proactively with Product Management, Design, Data, and other Engineers.
- Sound engineering and coding skills, with an understanding of basic data structures and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with iOS app performance optimization and metrics.
Location
This position is Remote Eligible within the United States. Occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required.

Compensation
- Salary Range: $185,000—$223,000 USD annually.
- This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and Employee Travel Credits.
