Mobile Developer (iOS) with SwiftUI Experience

Job Overview

HireArt is seeking a talented Mobile Developer (iOS) to join an innovative R&D research company. This role is perfect for someone interested in the intersection of technology and behavioral sciences. As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for architecting systems to build prototypes and collect experimental data from human subjects. You will collaborate with software infrastructure engineers and engage in mobile app development, front/back end web development, and data pipeline tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Develop systems to support human subject data collection.
Collaborate with researchers to determine system requirements, architect, and test them.
Iteratively develop user interfaces to showcase research ideas, web-based survey applications, and mobile apps capable of collecting, archiving, and analyzing data from sensors.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science or related Engineering disciplines.
Native mobile app experience with the latest iOS and SwiftUI.
Full iOS stack experience, including integrating mobile clients with complex web services and APIs.
A prototyping mindset to build robust solutions for scientific inquiries.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in groups.
Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
Eager to learn new skills and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.

Nice-to-have Experience

UX design experience, including wireframing, sketching, and using tools like Figma.
Experience in internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n).
Knowledge of server-side Python, iOS testing methods, and frameworks.
Interest in psychology, artificial intelligence, or HCI research.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, ongoing contract position based in Los Altos, CA. The position is remote, with the option for hybrid work for local candidates. Candidates must be able to work PST hours.
