Join the iOS Platform Team at Airbnb
Airbnb is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Developer Platform team. This role is pivotal in providing our iOS engineers with a world-class development environment and building foundational frameworks that enhance the experience of millions of guests and hosts.

The Difference You Will Make
As a core member of our iOS infrastructure team, you will:
- Contribute to our strategy and various workstreams.
- Partner with iOS developers and leaders across Airbnb to understand their needs and define solutions.
- Be responsible for the iOS continuous integration, ensuring it is fast, reliable, efficient, and delightful.
- Drive a large impact through direct, hands-on contributions to our infrastructure, benefiting numerous engineers.
A Typical Day
- Architect, design, and implement changes with a high level of autonomy across various technologies (Swift, Xcode, Bazel, Buildkite, Terraform, Ruby, SQL) to improve our CI.
- Collaborate with iOS engineers across Airbnb, providing support or guidance when necessary.
- Participate in all phases of software development from architecture/design through implementation, testing, and on-call.
- Over time, drive our strategy for CI using a data-driven approach and your own intuition and understanding of our customers.
Your Expertise
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience with iOS/macOS infrastructure (build, CI, app release, Xcode, developing runtime frameworks, etc.).
- Experience with CI infrastructure is a plus but not required.
- Track record of delivering complex projects with a high level of autonomy and self-direction.
- Highly motivated to improve the productivity and experience of the people you work with.
Your Location
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager. You must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
Pay Range
$185,000—$223,000 USD
