Your Role
As a Senior Android Developer at iO, you will work alongside a team of specialists including developers, designers, analysts, and architects. Your primary responsibility will be to translate our clients' digital strategies into high-performing and secure native applications. You will continuously seek improvements based on the latest Android Design Patterns.
You will be based at our Amsterdam campus, collaborating with colleagues from other locations on various mobile app projects. At iO, knowledge is the foundation of everything we do. You will grow by working on challenging projects in small teams and have the opportunity to shape your personal growth path. Participate in initiatives like Expert Groups, meet-ups, hackathons, and open source days.
What We Are Looking For
- Over 3 years of experience as a native Android Developer, preferably in an agency or consultancy setting.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Android Jetpack, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin Coroutines.
- Experience with design systems and tools like Zeplin & Figma.
- Familiarity with Unit Testing and Kotlin Multiplatform is essential.
- Knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI is a plus.
- Experience in setting up test automation & CI/CD.
- Proficiency in MVVM & MVP architecture.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, with experience working in an international environment.
