We are seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is pivotal in developing and deploying AI/ML models that enhance the quality of dental care worldwide.
About the Role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Overjet, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing the architecture and roadmap for the full-stack ML lifecycle. This includes everything from dataset creation, model training, and evaluation infrastructure, to the automated deployment of models in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain machine learning model development pipelines.
- Implement and maintain real-time and batch inference pipelines.
- Design and develop internal tools and APIs for training and evaluation dataset creation.
- Optimize model performance and ensure efficient deployment.
- Monitor and report on the performance of production models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models with data curation processes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in designing microservices and data processing pipelines at scale.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
- Strong programming skills in Python (5+ years).
- Experience with distributed model training and inference.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as BigQuery, Postgres, and MongoDB.
- Demonstrable experience with PyTorch and optimizing models for production.
