We are seeking a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York County, NY. This role is pivotal in developing cutting-edge algorithms and systems that enhance the detection and management of illegitimate claims, ensuring fairness and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development: Design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning and neural network methodologies.
- Model Training and Deployment: Train, evaluate, and deploy deep learning models that power Owl's innovative products.
- Research Collaboration: Conduct and collaborate on research projects to advance product capabilities and integrate new technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. A PhD in computer vision, machine learning, or related areas is highly preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in computer vision and/or machine learning in industry, academia, or government labs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in solving complex problems, utilizing Generative AI technology, and model fine-tuning techniques such as instruct tuning, SFT, and RLHF.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate research findings to public audiences or peers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Publications: First-authored publications at peer-reviewed conferences such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, NeurIPS, and SIGGRAPH.
- Experience: Over 4 years of work experience in an industry, university, or government lab setting.
