Job Overview
Join Riverty, a leading FinTech company, as a Senior PHP Software Developer for our Pimcore team based in Gütersloh, Germany. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, making it a hybrid position. You will be part of an international IT specialist team, driving digital transformation and supporting notable companies.
Responsibilities
- Implement software packages in both frontend and backend.
- Evaluate existing tools and frameworks for specific problems.
- Contribute to software architecture and data model creation.
- Implement unit tests, troubleshoot, and perform bug fixing.
- Document solutions created.
- Communicate independently within the team and with customers, providing technical consultation as needed.
- Actively participate in improving our tool stack and agile processes.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, preferably PHP.
- Experience with major software development frameworks, ideally Symfony.
- Skilled in web frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and SQL databases, preferably MySQL.
- Experience in team-based software development, preferably with agile methodologies like SCRUM.
- Fluent in German and proficient in English.
