About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer at Riverty, you will be tasked with designing and implementing scalable solutions for big data applications within an agile environment. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining and developing TV Data Aggregation-Pipelines, which primarily utilize Spark/Scala and Python, and are hosted on Docker and Kubernetes in the AWS cloud. You will also be involved in continuous testing automation for existing and new functionalities.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable solutions for big data applications.
- Maintain and develop TV Data Aggregation-Pipelines using Spark/Scala and Python.
- Automate testing for existing and new functionalities.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical problems.
- Evaluate new technologies and share knowledge with team members.
Your Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Proficient in software testing, CI/CD, and Test Driven Development.
- Experience with SQL, Scala/Java, ETL, and Big Data technologies like Spark and Hadoop. Additional experience with Python is a plus.
- Focus on efficiency and quality with a hands-on mentality.
- Fluent in German and English.
