Role Overview
Join Riverty, a leading FinTech company, as a Senior Backend Developer and contribute to the development of innovative financial solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of our Content Management System and associated backend services. You will collaborate with a team of technical colleagues to build resilient backend systems using Java, Spring, Go, Lambda, and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the foundation for our digital offerings across various brands.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and scrum masters in cross-functional teams.
- Take ownership from analysis to rollout in implementing complex technical requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for CI/CD, infrastructure, and application monitoring/logging.
- Actively participate in technological decisions with your team, contributing your knowledge and experience.
Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot; knowledge of Go or Kotlin is a plus.
- Extensive experience with cloud-based systems, preferably AWS, and Kubernetes platform.
- Strong understanding of Git, RESTful APIs, and basic CI/CD practices (e.g., GitLab CI).
- Experience with unit tests, E2E tests, and test automation.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies like SCRUM or Kanban.
