Role Overview
As a Senior Frontend Developer at Riverty, you will play a pivotal role in the development, maintenance, and modernization of our internal systems. These systems are crucial for the ingestion of media material, enrichment with metadata for research or material search for journalists, and provision for editing and subsequent broadcasting on TV or our digital content platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development efforts of our frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, and SaaS.
- Design and implement modular solutions based on existing and future media workflows.
- Collaborate closely with editors, TV technicians, and other team members to see the direct impact of your work on users.
- Continuously improve our development process in collaboration with other software developers.
- Ensure the quality, performance, scalability, user-friendliness, and design of our systems.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Profound expertise in Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web technologies.
- Familiarity with Clean Code principles and a commitment to high quality and robustness.
- Experience with agile development methods like SCRUM or Kanban.
- Good communication skills in both German and English.
