About the Role
As a Mobile Engineer at Ebury, you will be part of a small, autonomous product squad, working alongside Backend Engineers, API Engineers, Product Designers, and Product Managers. You will report to an engineering manager who is dedicated to your professional development and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of React Native Mobile App: Take charge of our React Native mobile app, ensuring high-quality code and innovative features.
- Mentorship: Manage and coach a junior developer, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to test hypotheses and deliver new app functionalities that enhance customer experiences.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest mobile development practices, tools, and frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, maintaining code quality and organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development, particularly in Frontend or Mobile development.
- Strong expertise in React Native and familiarity with RESTful APIs for backend integration.
- Proficient in code versioning tools like Git.
- Commitment to quality, with testable code and comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Experience with Bitrise pipelines for service and infrastructure deployment.
- Ability to analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance.
