Mobile Engineer - React Native
Location: Madrid, Spain
Ebury is seeking a talented Mobile Engineer with expertise in React Native to join our dynamic technology team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and build our first React Native team, crafting a groundbreaking mobile experience and building Ebury's mobile presence from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of React Native Mobile App: Take charge of the development and management of our React Native mobile application.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Backend Engineers, API Engineers, Product Designers, and Product Managers in a small, autonomous product squad.
- Mentorship: Manage and coach a junior developer, fostering their growth and development.
- Innovation: Collaborate across disciplines to test hypotheses and deliver new app functionality and experiences that make a difference to our customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest mobile development practices, tools, and frameworks. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven working experience in software development, particularly in Frontend or Mobile development.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience with React Native and familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
- Version Control: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Quality Assurance: Ability to write testable code with unit and integration tests. Experience with Bitrise pipelines for deployment is a plus.
- Optimization: Skilled in analyzing and optimizing UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance.
