About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Pinterest, you will be part of the Analytics Platform team, focusing on developing and enhancing internal tools that significantly boost productivity for engineers and data scientists. This role involves working on greenfield projects that are crucial for advancing machine learning and data processing capabilities within the company.
Responsibilities
- Drive productivity improvements in machine learning and data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the future of machine learning at Pinterest.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends in data automation.
- Mentor team members and lead in design and code reviews, ensuring best practices in software development are followed.
What We Look For
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack web development, especially with technologies like Flask, React, and Next.js.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
- Experience in developing full-stack web applications using MySQL and Redis.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
- A strong passion for developing internal tools and a hands-on approach to technology.
