Pinterest is seeking a talented and experienced Staff Product Manager to lead the development of AI safety capabilities and applications. This role is crucial in ensuring that Pinterest's AI and ML systems align with the company's mission to inspire users while addressing the needs of Pinners and Advertisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute a cohesive strategy for AI safety capabilities in collaboration with Engineering, Product, Design, Research, and other cross-functional teams.
- Innovation: Build innovative features and processes that apply technology to solve problems for Pinners, Partners, and Pinterest.
- Collaboration: Work with a range of teams to create and execute a comprehensive development roadmap that addresses regulatory needs and upholds Pinterest’s values.
- Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, marketing, legal, and sales teams to ensure a holistic approach to product development.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven success in applying emerging technologies in fast-growing companies.
- Product Sense: Strong ability to collaborate and gain buy-in from stakeholders while setting a long-term vision.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to define product and model development strategy, drive decision-making, and enable trade-off discussions grounded in data and qualitative feedback.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and operate in ambiguous environments and execute with urgency.
Additional Information
- Location: This role is remote, with in-office collaboration required 1-2 times per quarter.
- Salary Range: €140,000 - €290,000 annually.
- Equity: This position is eligible for equity.
