Join Ksyos as a Senior Software Engineer

Ksyos is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in innovating and improving healthcare for everyone in the Netherlands. You will be part of the Design & Tech department, working with a team of approximately 40 colleagues, applying our version of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex software solutions. You will work closely with your Lead Developer to design, implement, and maintain flexible, secure, and scalable software. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of your team members and collaborate with various colleagues across Ksyos.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the software platform, ensuring clean and maintainable code.
Inspire and coach your colleagues, with a focus on Junior and Medior Developers.
Collaborate with the Software Architect and Business Analysts on complex issues related to code and infrastructure development.
Conduct code reviews of pull requests from other team members to share knowledge and ensure quality.

Our Technology Stack

The Ksyos healthcare platform is built on modern software development and architecture principles, utilizing technologies such as Node.js, React, TypeScript, and AWS. We emphasize an optimal user experience, working closely with our Designers who incorporate user testing and Design Thinking into our processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in independently designing and developing complex functionalities.
Demonstrated experience working with other developers across multiple scrum teams.
Knowledge of various stakeholders and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
Experience in coaching and mentoring junior/medior developers.
Genuine interest in new developments and trends in software technology.
Affinity with healthcare is a plus.
Proficiency in Dutch at a B1 level is a minimum requirement.

A competitive salary starting from €4,500, depending on your experience.
Initially a temporary contract, with the aim of a long-term employment relationship.
