Position: Software Developer (w/m/d)
Legal Entity: Fujitsu Germany GmbH
Responsibilities
- As part of our software development team, you will further develop central operating system components of the mainframe operating system BS2000 and support the software lifecycle from specification through implementation, testing, maintenance, to service support.
- Participate in concepts for innovative and complex IT architectures based on customer requirements.
- Work in large development teams and collaborate with our international strategic partners.
- Contribute to the provision of technical documentation and create content for user manuals.
- Provide technical support to our service and sales colleagues, including back-level maintenance support and problem-solving for own modules and third-party components.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed studies (e.g., in computer science) or comparable vocational training in the IT field.
- Initial professional experience in software development, experience in programming languages (preferably Assembler, C/C++, and scripting languages) and debugging systems.
- Experience in the development lifecycle (including source management and continuous integration).
- Passion for software development.
- Knowledge and/or experience in C runtime environments for operating systems.
- Knowledge in middleware for databases and transaction processing is desirable.
- High analytical skills, flexibility, creativity, and a strong customer and service orientation are essential.
- Very good German and good English skills.
