Job Description
As a Java Lead Software Developer at Fujitsu, you will be responsible for the design, specification, and implementation of software features according to defined requirements. You will be an active team member within the development team, focusing on developing high-quality products. Your role will involve following all defined ways of working, coding standards, and procedures. You will cooperate with both local and international teams, including technical and project management, to troubleshoot and fix bugs in collaboration with Quality Assurance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, specify, and implement software features according to defined requirements.
- Act as a technical advisor for development and service, maintaining a high level of product and solution knowledge.
- Provide development support during the lifecycle of complex modules, products, and solutions.
- Develop new versions and updates, evaluate technical trends, and suggest innovative product ideas.
- Use new technologies and methods actively to develop highly competitive products.
- Provide and support technical documentation on realized modules/products following internal standards.
- Provide maintenance support, including problem-solving for own modules and, if necessary, for components.
- Guide less experienced team members and recommend practice improvements.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Additional knowledge of API, Apache Camel, Avro, and Cloud Foundry.
- Experience in the development of complex products/solutions on time, in accordance with agreed specifications and standards.
- Bachelor/Master in Computer Science or equivalent.
- B2/C1 English language skills.
- Passion for clean & smart code and great engineering work.
