Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Quality Solutions: Collaborate with engineering teams to implement comprehensive quality solutions.
- Test Automation Frameworks: Develop test automation frameworks, CI/CD infrastructures, build systems, and reporting tools to support flagship streaming mobile apps like Disney+ and Hulu.
- Documentation and Training: Maintain documentation for end-user consumption and provide training on automation tools and frameworks.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve framework or environmental issues affecting services.
- Platform & Data Engineering: Become a core member of the team, helping others increase productivity through innovation and championing Disney's core value of quality.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in software development, including test automation for both front-end and back-end services.
- Skills: Proficiency in object-oriented design and expertise in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills and familiarity with standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) tools like Jira, Confluence, and version control systems like GitLab or GitHub.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering production iOS/Android apps.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and cloud-based testing infrastructures (e.g., SauceLabs).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and continuous integration/delivery systems.
- Experience writing Gherkin syntax for automated test scenarios and developing advanced mocking mechanisms.

Location
This position is based in Santa Monica, California, and requires on-site work.
Compensation
The salary range for this position in Santa Monica is $112,600 to $151,000 per year. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
