About the Organization
Engineering Services designs, builds, and sustains technology that powers DE&E Technology’s worldwide content production and distribution platforms. This includes Quality Engineering, Data Analytics, Software Development, Broadcast Infrastructure, and Networking & Security. The Quality Engineering team validates all work before production, encompassing web, mobile, living room applications, media, services, and non-consumer-facing products.
What You Will Do
As a Software Engineer I, you will:
- Develop Solutions: Contribute to the successful implementation of solutions for sophisticated technical problems alongside DE&ET engineering teams.
- Maintain Systems: Be responsible for the development and maintenance of test automation, tooling, execution environments, and build systems used across multiple products.
- Innovate Quality: Work with engineering teams to implement a full-stack quality solution, develop test automation frameworks, and maintain documentation.
- Enhance Productivity: Help others increase productivity through innovation and champion the core value of Disney Quality.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proficient in object-oriented design and programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Experience with app development, test automation, and unit testing for iOS/Android apps.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration/delivery systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
