Software Engineer Intern 2025

About the Role

As a Software Engineer Intern at Lucid Software, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to building world-class web applications. These applications push the boundaries of what is possible in a browser, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, Scala, and AWS. Your work will contribute to creating a user experience that rivals desktop applications.

Responsibilities

Design, Develop, and Maintain Software: You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software.
Project Management: Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of software solutions.

Requirements

Education: Currently pursuing a BS or MS Degree in Computer Science.
Academic Performance: High academic performance in Computer Science courses.
Teamwork and Communication: Strong commitment to teamwork and excellent communication skills, both with business and technical partners.

Preferred Qualifications

JavaScript Experience: Familiarity with JavaScript and its ecosystem.
Web Technologies: Experience with CSS/HTML/DOM manipulation.
Programming Languages: Experience with Scala or Java.
Database Knowledge: Understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
Problem Solving: Ability to thrive in an energizing environment with a bias towards finding solutions.
Detail Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
