Lucid Software is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Software Engineer at Lucid, you will be instrumental in building our world-class web applications that push the boundaries of what is possible in your browser. Our applications are powerful HTML5/JavaScript applications that use a state-of-the-art tech stack including Angular, TypeScript, Scala, and AWS to craft a user experience that feels like a desktop application.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software: You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables: Work collaboratively with team members to set and achieve team goals.
- Collaborate with team members: Engage in teamwork to set and achieve team goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Other duties as assigned: Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Educational Background: You should have completed a BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with a minor in Computer Science.
- High academic performance: Demonstrated excellence in Computer Science courses.
- Commitment to teamwork and strong communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JavaScript: Familiarity with JavaScript and its ecosystem.
- Experience with CSS/HTML/DOM manipulation: Ability to work with front-end technologies.
- Understanding of MySQL or other relational databases: Knowledge of database management and SQL.
- Bias towards finding solutions: A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented and organized: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
