Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)
About the Role
Join Scale AI as a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 and be part of a team that is at the forefront of AI development. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that accelerate the growth of AI applications. You will be involved in building web applications, integrating APIs, and working with large volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and ship tools to enhance the Scale labeling platform.
- Build fraud-detection systems to ensure the safety and trust of Scale’s contributor base.
- Create advanced matching algorithms for optimal task assignment.
- Design and implement UI/UX tooling for large-scale task completion.
- Develop AI infrastructure products for data visualization and exploration.
Requirements
- Expected graduation in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, EECS, Computer Engineering, or Statistics.
- Previous internship experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Experience in building systems that process large data volumes.
- Proficiency in Python, React, TypeScript, and/or MongoDB.
- Availability for a Summer 2025 internship starting in May/June.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $88,000—$105,600 USD (pro-rated for internship duration).
- Equity-based compensation subject to approval.
